Role & Responsibilities

As a Collection Specialist, you will be responsible for managing customer accounts and ensuring timely collection of outstanding payments. Your key responsibilities include:

Reviewing open customer accounts using daily ageing reports
Managing assigned accounts through inbound and outbound collection calls in a professional manner
Collecting payments as per agreed timelines and following up on payment commitments
Monitoring payment activity to ensure receivables are collected on time
Escalating cases where there is no response or non-payment
Assisting customers by sending statements, processing refunds, and handling billing adjustments
Resolving client billing issues while delivering high-quality customer service
Identifying reasons for account delinquency and discussing them with customers
Coordinating with clients and internal teams to resolve payment-related concerns

This role helps candidates develop strong skills in finance operations, customer communication, negotiation, and compliance.
